Dr. Priyanka Watwe
Dr. Watwe grew up in the Livonia area in Michigan. She earned her Bachelor’s degree from Michigan State University, after which she graduated from The University of Detroit Mercy, School of Dentistry. Dr. Watwe then elected to enhance her dental skills by attending a General Practice Residency for one year at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton, Ohio. Here, she expanded her knowledge in oral surgery, root canals, implant dentistry and general, restorative dentistry. After her GPR, Dr. W worked as an associate for a private practice in Dayton, Ohio for 3 years. However, she truly missed Michigan, and more specifically, the Lansing area. She has been living in the Lansing area since 2017.
Dr. Watwe's passion is delivering the highest quality dentistry in a caring, personalized manner. Dr. Watwe understands that every person and every mouth is unique; this is why individualized attention is crucial. This is the reason it was so important to Dr. W to own her own practice, so she could ensure this vision is achieved for every single patient that is seen at Downtown Dental Studio! Even when Dr. Watwe is not at work, she can be found increasing her dental knowledge by taking continuing education courses (both online and in person now!) and catching up on new dental technologies at home. She enjoys golfing with her husband in the summers, reading, playing with her cats, and doing yoga.
Nicca
Business Administrator
Nicca brings over 20 years of experience in the medical field, with a strong focus on patient satisfaction. She enjoys connecting with people and takes pride in being the welcoming face at the front desk. From check-in to check-out, Nicca is dedicated to ensuring every patient has a positive and seamless experience. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time at home with her husband and two children. As a family, they love traveling, camping, and making meaningful memories together. Nicca is known for her warm personality, attention to detail, and commitment to helping patients feel comfortable and supported. She values teamwork and takes pride in contributing to a caring and efficient office environment.
Katelyn
Registered Dental Hygienist
Katelyn was recently married and is a proud pet parent of two. Katelyn is originally from Lake, Michigan but decided to come to Lansing to expand her opportunities. Outside of the dental office you can find Katelyn reading a good book, painting or traveling to new places. She graduated from Ferris State University's Dental Hygiene program in 2025. Katelyn is passionate about providing a safe space for patients to feel comfortable in the dental chair and loves educating patients about their oral health.
Joanne
Registered Dental Hygienist
Joanne is a mother of two beautiful children who enjoys the outdoors, movies, and trying new foods! She graduated dental hygiene school in 2018 from Lansing Community College and has since been doing what she loves to do best, helping others to achieve excellent dental health. Her favorite part of her career in dentistry is the sense of instant satisfaction both she and her patients feel after their dental hygiene cleaning is completed. One fun fact about Joanne is that she loves to bowl! Joanne looks forward to being a part of the reason that YOU smile!
Elizabeth
Dental Assistant
Elizabeth is a dental assistant and a graduate of Ross Medical. Her long-term goal is to become a Registered Dental Assistant. She is a proud mother of two amazing children and a devoted pet mom to her Pitsky, Penelope.
Outside of work, Elizabeth enjoys traveling, spending time out on the water, and chasing adrenaline-filled adventures. Her favorite hobby is photography, where she loves capturing meaningful moments and unique perspectives.
What Elizabeth loves most about her career is helping patients with their dental needs and giving them the confidence to share their smile with the world.
