Dr. Priyanka Watwe
Dr. Watwe grew up in the Livonia area in Michigan. She earned her Bachelor’s degree from Michigan State University, after which she graduated from The University of Detroit Mercy, School of Dentistry. Dr. Watwe then elected to enhance her dental skills by attending a General Practice Residency for one year at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton, Ohio. Here, she expanded her knowledge in oral surgery, root canals, implant dentistry and general, restorative dentistry. After her GPR, Dr. W worked as an associate for a private practice in Dayton, Ohio for 3 years. However, she truly missed Michigan, and more specifically, the Lansing area. She has been living in the Lansing area since 2017.
Dr. Watwe's passion is delivering the highest quality dentistry in a caring, personalized manner. Dr. Watwe understands that every person and every mouth is unique; this is why individualized attention is crucial. This is the reason it was so important to Dr. W to own her own practice, so she could ensure this vision is achieved for every single patient that is seen at Downtown Dental Studio! Even when Dr. Watwe is not at work, she can be found increasing her dental knowledge by taking continuing education courses (both online and in person now!) and catching up on new dental technologies at home. She enjoys golfing with her husband in the summers, reading, playing with her cats, and doing yoga.
Jessica
Office Manager
Jessica has been a Dental Assistant at the Downtown Dental Studio location, formerly Dr. Mallory's office since 2006. She transitioned to the Office Manager and Insurance Coordinator position after Tammy retired in December, 2021. She and her husband live in Williamston with their son and dog. Jessica enjoys reading, gardening, and spending time with friends and family. Jessica LOVES getting to know all of our patients and helping them overcome any dental anxieties or fears they may have. She is a hardworking, generous, kindhearted office manager with an expansive knowledge base in many dental procedures. Jessica is the greatest help with any financial concerns you may have!
Joanne
Registered Dental Hygienist
Joanne is a mother of two beautiful children who enjoys the outdoors, movies, and trying new foods! She graduated dental hygiene school in 2018 from Lansing Community College and has since been doing what she loves to do best, helping others to achieve excellent dental health. Her favorite part of her career in dentistry is the sense of instant satisfaction both she and her patients feel after their dental hygiene cleaning is completed. One fun fact about Joanne is that she loves to bowl! Joanne looks forward to being a part of the reason that YOU smile!
Teneille
Registered Dental Hygienist
Teneille graduated from Lansing Community College's dental hygiene program in 2016, and is looking forward to completing her bachelor's degree in the near future. Teneille enjoys working with a variety of patients and staying up to date with the latest technologies in dentistry. She has a strong passion for educating her patients on periodontal disease and helping patients overcome dental fears. Her philosophy is to treat each of her patients with individualized care and attention, as if they are family. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family, shopping, and traveling. You will definitely achieve a healthier smile with Teneille's knowledge and guidance on your side!
Amris
Dental Assistant
Amris attended Ross Medical Education, completing her dental assisting program in 2016. During her career in dentistry, Amris has worked both in the front office and as a clinical assistant, making her knowledgeable in ALL aspects of the dental office! Amris is a loving mother to two wonderful sons and a dog mom, to her German Shepherd, Flokie. She enjoys spending time walking outside, kayaking, and watching her oldest son play baseball. Amris loves building relationships with her patients, educating everyone on anything dental related, and helping patients overcome dental anxiety.
